Stopped there for lunch party of 7 as we were in the area didn’t know anything about the red lion but the staff were welcoming and friendly the carvery was amazing I would definitely recommend dropping in and try the Sunday lunch will definitely revisit one day
We called in for a sunday carvery in the hope they had room for us. They did and our little dog. We were shown a table by a lovely young man who made sure we had all We needed. We went to get our carvery and I have to say it was the nicest roast dinner I have eaten in many a year!!! All fresh veg, mountains of meat and real thick, tasty gravy!!! We will definitely be back
The Red Lion Hotel, Llangadog, is absolutely lovely. We were more than happy not only with our room, the hotel the service and absolute friendliness. Kelsey serving in the bar made us very welcome. Talked to locals, Andy and Barry in particular. Merlin behind the bar was very polite and helpful...everyone was also Abbie taking/serving food orders. Food was lovely and PLENTY of it. Breakfast we enjoyed very much. Our room was clean, fresh and tidy. Absolutely fine for us. Don't hesitate if you get the chance to book...top marks from us !!!!
We had dinner at the Red Lion. We were not disappointed, staff friendly and helpful, food was excellent, a proper restaurant atmosphere. We had Tapas to share, honestly, it was difficult to choose from the large selection. Chicken, onion pakora, and calamari were stunning!!! I had a braised beef and my other half had a lamb shank. It was just amazing! The kids had sausages and nuggets with chips and they found it so delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft and beautifully seasoned inside Service was amazing . The staff were prompt on their feet. Found time to come and chat with us to make sure everything was good Haven’t had such a beautiful experience anywhere else.
A great Sunday afternoon community experience, and one of my favourite beers — Jemima’s Pitchfork — was offered. Diolch y Iechyd da!

Stayed one night on motorcycle tour, parked in hotel courtyard and I was pretty content, no issues. Room was absolutely brilliant (Henry VIII) massive and shower was great. Locals and workers very friendly. Breakfast was excellent also as well as evening meal. Prices were unbeatable really, would I stay again Absolutely YES
Excellent service fantastic home cooked food huge portions. Rooms lovely and clean but decor a bit tired and lighting a bit poor and struggled to get stations on TV but all in all will definitely go back

We used a skeleton key to open the door. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a unique experience.
